The Cabinet of Sarawak forms the executive branch of the state's government. It is led by the Chief Minister of Sarawak. The Chief Minister is appointed by the Governor on the basis that he is able to command a majority in the Assembly. He then advises the Governor on the appointment of state ministers. The Chief Minister and his ministers constitute the state cabinet, and share collective responsibility to the Assembly.
