Abang Johari will highlight Sarawak’s achievements and aspirations in the renewable energy sector at the summit, which will be held at the Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.

KUCHING (Oct 26): Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to deliver a keynote address at the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2025 Summit tomorrow.

He will highlight Sarawak’s achievements and aspirations in the renewable energy sector at the summit, which will be held at the Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.

“The upcoming SIEW 2025 Summit will also see several leaders from around the world and prominent figures in the energy sector sharing their views and expertise,” said the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) in a Facebook post today.

Prior to his keynote address, Abang Johari is scheduled to hold high-profile discussions with delegations from PFYN Capital AG, Masdar and Blueleaf Energy/Chemsain.

SIEW is an annual platform for energy professionals, policymakers and commentators to share best practices and solutions in the global energy space.

Organised by the Energy Market Authority of Singapore (EMA), SIEW 2025 will feature high-level keynote addresses and panel discussions focusing on the theme ‘Envisioning Energy Tomorrow, Building Systems Today’.

Notable events to be held in conjunction with the summit include the Singapore-IEA Forum, Singapore-Irena High-Level Forum, SIEW Energy Vision, SIEW TechTable and SIEW Thinktank Roundtable.
